Proverbs
30:2

For I am more beastly than anyone, I do not have the understanding of a man:

30:3

I have not learned wisdom, but I do know the knowledge of holiness.

30:4

Who has gone up to Heaven and come down? Who has gathered the wind in his fists? Who has bound the waters in his garments? Who has made all the ends of the earth to rise? What is His name, and what is his Son's name? Surely you know.

30:5

Every word of God is tested: He is a shield to those who seek refuge in Him.

30:6

Do not add to His words, that He not reprove you, and you be found a liar.

30:7

I have asked two things from You: Do not hold back from me before I die;

30:8

Remove vanity and a lying word far from me; do not give me poverty or riches; tear my portion of bread,

30:9

that I not become full and deceive, and say, Who is Jehovah? Or that I not become poor and steal, and violate the name of my God.

30:10

Do not slander a servant to his master, that he not curse you, and you be found guilty.

30:11

There is a generation who put a curse on their father, and do not give a blessing to their mother.

30:12

There is a generation who seem to themselves to be free from sin, but are not washed from their unclean ways.

30:13

There is a generation, O how full of pride are their eyes! O how their brows are lifted up!

30:14

There is a generation whose teeth are like swords, their strong teeth like knives, for the destruction of the poor from the earth, and of those who are in need from among men.
