"whoever
finds the
INTERPRETATIONS
of
these sayings will not taste death."
-Jesus,
The Gospel of Thomas |
ProphetsForPeace.com exists to expose False
Prophets, not by telling you what to believe,
but by encouraging you to FIND the truth for yourself!
Let me start by saying that a PROPHET is etymologically
someone who 'SPEAKS FOR' someone else. It literally means
'SPOKESMAN.' The Greek translators of the Bible adopted it
into Christian usage, frequently using it specifically for
'one who INTERPRETS the will of the gods to humans.' The word
'prophecy' is a derivative of the same root word propheta -
fable, fame, fate. Source, Dictionary of Word Origins, by John
Ayto.
This
means ALL religious teachers, past and present, all preachers,
ministers, pastors, priests, rabis, etc. are in effect
prophets, and are delivering prophecy, as they are 'speaking
for' and 'interpreting' the messages of the higher power they
claim to represent. Anyone who 'speaks for' someone else
can be said to be a prophet. So, on the other hand, any
spokesman who misinterprets the meaning of another and
delivers their message with error is in fact a FALSE PROPHET.
A false prophet is anyone who distorts someone else's
message in any way, purposely or not.
It is
our interpretation of (to conceive the significance of;
construe) another's words that gets in the way of our own
understanding of what we are reading or hearing. Words are
merely symbols representing something greater, and are
constantly evolving and changing as society does. What a
certain word means to one person is not necessarily what it
means to another. This makes it critical when interpreting
scripture, to look to the beginning, to the root or origin of
the word and what it meant at the time it was being used. You
simply cannot rely solely on what it means to you, or what it
means in this present day and age. This is one way you can
become a truth seeker (discoverer), one who "FINDS THE
INTERPRETATIONS" by looking beyond the seemingly obvious.
Jesus said,
|
"WHOEVER
SEARCHES
will find. It will be opened (completely
obvious) to
him."
-Jesus, The Gospel of Thomas
"Let whoever seeks
not cease from his seeking until he finds. When he finds he will be
troubled. When he is troubled, he will marvel
and will reign over all."
-Jesus, The Gospel of Thomas
"WHOEVER
DRINKS from my
MOUTH
will be as I
am, and I shall be that person, and
the hidden things will be
revealed to that person."
-Jesus, The Gospel of Thomas

For generations
religions
have sanctified men to spread their prophecies (interpretations) of God's laws to the masses. They
compete for regions and obedience to their doctrines, and in
legions they march out proclaiming and defending their
prophecies, enlisting others to their cause.
Look here at the word
RELIGIONS,
and what is contained within it.
Christianity
claims to have the only real WORD of God, and to be the
true interpreters of Christ's message.
But even Christians do not agree, and
thus their doctrines vary and divide them into many SECTS.
Not all can be correct; therefore false prophets are and
always have been among them. Which denomination should you TRUST in WHOLLY? How many church leaders SEARCH beyond what they are TAUGHT TO
TEACH? How many become TRUE SEEKERS
themselves, before
graduating to spread their
denominational interpretations as TRUTH to others?
James,
disciple and early church founder warns,
|
"My
brothers, do not be MANY TEACHERS, knowing that we will
receive greater judgment.
For we ALL stumble in many ways."
"Who is wise and knowing among you? Let him
show his works by his good behavior, in meekness of wisdom. But if you have
bitter
jealousy and
contention
(difference of opinion) in your heart, do not boast and lie
against truth. This is not the wisdom coming down from above, but is
earthly,
beastly, devilish. For where jealousy and
contention are, there is
confusion and every foul deed. But
the wisdom from above is firstly truly pure, then
peaceable,
forbearing,
yielding, full of
mercy
and of good
fruits,
not
partial
and
not
pretended. And
the fruit of
righteousness is sown in
peace for the ones making peace."
-James, Chapter 3 |
If you do not question what
you are taught, and search out the answers for yourself, then you are not a SEEKER,
and you will never FIND and KNOW the REAL message of CHRIST!
Throughout the ages, religions have
taught their misunderstandings (false prophecies) as law, and
have created dogmas,
rituals, and
idolatries
that need to be exposed.
Jesus tells us,
|
"Hypocrites! Well did Isaiah prophesy
concerning you, saying: This people draws near to Me with
their mouth (speech), and with their lips (words)
honor Me; but their heart (please notice
'heart' contains the words HEAR
and EAR) is
far from Me... in
vain they worship Me, teaching as doctrines
the ordinances of men."
The
LITERAL TRANSLATION FROM GREEK SAYS, “they are
meaninglessly devoted to Me, teaching as teachings the
directions of humans.”
—Mt. 15:9
(CB)
"But false prophets were also among the
people, as also false teachers
will be
among
you (he was speaking to the disciples starting the church), who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, and
denying the Master who
has bought them, bringing swift destruction on
themselves, and MANY will follow their destructive
ways, BY WHOM THE WAY OF
TRUTH WILL BE EVIL SPOKEN OF
(the real way of truth will be said to be evil).
And
by covetousness, with well-turned words, they will use you for
gain."
-2 Peter 2:1-3
“You must be
continually looking out so that no one will
lead you away as the spoils of his robbery by means of the
empty enticement of his philosophies
[his
religious speculations
(Acts 17:18)] that are in accordance with human tradition
and the world’s elementary teachings.”
—Col. 2:8 (CB)
“there are some who
are disturbing you and wanting to distort the Good Message
about the Anointed One.”
—Gal. 1:7 (CB)

In reading the history
of Christianity, and
The First Battle for the Bible, it's EVIDENT these things DID come
to pass in the building of the Christian church, and that those false
teachings are still alive today. The MAJORITY
of Christians accept these false teachings as presented, never
questioning the men they rely on for truth about
their salvation. They set out devoted in their hearts to spreading "The Good News"
across the globe with conviction and zeal. Does this not make
them FALSE PROPHETS, even though they mean well?
If there really is a DEVIL in the form of a being, this is his
ULTIMATE DECEPTION and crowning achievement, most fitting for
a Father of LIES. If you have not
researched the history of Christianity, I urge you do so as a
truth seeker.
QUOTE from Religions of The World 2nd Edition: "In their teaching, the early Christians
used collections of Jesus' stories or sayings as well as the
sermons and lessons of his disciples. His followers passed on
these materials orally, and some may have written them down
even before the gospels were prepared, about 35-70 years after
Jesus' death. The early
Christian preachers who preserved the
oral tradition shaped it for their own uses and adapted their
"records" of Jesus' words and acts to highlight meaning
important to the expanding church. How then can we
determine what material is authentically the teaching of
Jesus?"
Jesus said you must
SEEK, KNOCK, and
ASK
before His mysteries concerning SALVATION will be revealed.
Most people NEVER do this as instructed:
|
"ASK and it will be given to you; SEEK, and ye shall find; KNOCK, and it will be open to you. For each one that ASKS receives, and
the one that SEEKS finds; and to the one KNOCKING it will be opened."
-Mt 7:7-8
|
DO YOU THINK YOU
ALREADY KNOW WHAT JESUS CAME TO TEACH because you were TAUGHT
in church? Are your convictions based on what someone
TOLD you? ARE YOU SO
CERTAIN THEY ARE RIGHT THAT YOU'LL BET YOUR SOUL ON IT... on
another's
interpretation?
Jesus spoke in parables, because what He was teaching was only
meant to be understood by his students:
|
"And
coming near, the disciples (Greek translates as
a learner; pupil) said to Him, Why do You speak to
them in parables? And answering, He said to them, Because
it has been given to you (learners; pupils) to
know (understand) the mysteries of the
Kingdom of
Heaven, but it has not been given to those (non-learners; non-pupils).
For whoever has,
to him will be given, and he will have over-abundance. But
whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from
him."
-Mt 13:10
"And He taught them
many things in parables, and said to them in His Teaching:
Listen! (hear) Behold! (see)..."
-Mk 4:2-3 |
Words and what they symbolize change
and evolve as society does, so one thing you must do to decipher
Jesus' meanings is to go back to the BEGINNING (the origin)
of His words. You must understand the culture and times,
and the meaning of the Greek as
written.
CHRIST VERY CAREFULLY
CHOSE HIS WORDS TO LEAVE BEHIND AS LIGHTS SHINNING IN THE
DARKNESS. TO DISCOVER HIS
HIDDEN MEANINGS,
YOU MUST BECOME A
TRUTH SEEKER...
YOU MUST DISCOVER THE BEGINNING... THE
ORIGIN
OF HIS WORDS IS A GOOD PLACE TO START.
|
The disciples said to Jesus, "Tell us how our end will
come." Jesus said, "Have you
discovered the
BEGINNING
(basis) that you search for
the end? In the place where the BEGINNING is, there the
end will be. Blessed is he who will stand at the BEGINNING:
He will know the end and will not taste death."
-Jesus
Christ, The Gospel of Thomas |
Now,
as in old, the Synagogues and Churches are full of FALSE
PROPHETS teaching their misunderstandings as LAW.
The resemblance
between the False
Prophets of old and Christianity today is undeniable.
Read what Jesus says to the
CHURCHES in Revelation.
Jesus tells us in Matthew
Chapter 7:
-
"Do not judge that you
may not be judged..."
(Religions thrive on establishing and judging right
and wrong.)
-
"Why do
you look on the twig that is in the eye of your brother, but
do not see the log in your eye..." (Religions point out sin and dictate righteousness,
not recognizing that they are teaching false prophecies.)
-
"Go in through the
narrow
gate; for
wide is
the gate, and
broad is the
way that leads to death. And
MANY
are the ones that go through it. For narrow is the gate, and
constricted is the way that leads into life, and
FEW are the
ones who
find
it."
(Christianity is not the few but the MANY, and is even called
'THE MAJORITY'. Christianity is spread across the globe
as the dominate religion, so I do not see how anyone can say
theirs is the narrow, constricted way.)
-
"Beware of FALSE PROPHETS who come to you in
sheep's clothing, but inside they are plundering wolves..."
-
Not Everyone who says to
me Lord, Lord, will enter into the kingdom of Heaven, but the
ones who
do the
WILL of My Father in Heaven..."
-
MANY
will say to me in
that day Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name?..." (CHRISTIANITY
is the only MANY prophesying in CHRIST's name. Also, please note the
word 'antichrist' hides as an anagram within 'Christianity' - a
coincidence, I think not.)
-
"In Your
name cast out
demons?..." (Who besides the Christians use the phrase,
"In Jesus name we...")
-
"In Your
name do many
works of power?..." (In the 2004 election,
President Bush won 79% of the twenty six million Evangelical
votes, which was enough to win him re-election. If controlling
who becomes the U.S. President isn't power, then what is?)
-
And then I will declare
to them (the many), I never
KNEW you; depart from Me, those WORKING
LAWLESSNESS."
(Jesus tells us MANY
will think they have taught His message, but
will find they never really understood Him, and that they
been
promoting lawlessness in His name.)
|
In the beginning of Revelation, Jesus spends much time
warning THE 7 CHURCHES to REPENT
(The Greek origin of 'Repent' means to think differently, reconsider).
Who's to say that the apocalypse described in Revelation is not a
direct result of the churches not acting on the warnings
Christ gave them (the founding churches of Christianity). It
would only be right then, that they would receive just retribution
for not heeding His directives. When you read the
letters to the 7 churches in Revelation, keep in mind that 'ANGEL' in Greek
simply translates to "MESSENGER". Who more qualifies
as
Christ's messengers, than the original founders of
Christianity?

will be revealed to you. For there is nothing hidden
that will not be disclosed."
